Expert Panel To Present At The Third-Annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay & Co. have announced a lineup of expert panelists who will speak at the third-annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference this coming January.

Lori Coleman, fleet manager of Gordon Foods; Mike Delaney, president and CEO of WheelTime; and Brian Mulshine, director of operations technology and innovation for Rush Enterprises, will participate in the panel taking place at the conference, to be held Jan. 26, 2015, at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The event immediately precedes Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2015.

The panel, titled, “How Changing Service Patterns Are Affecting the Aftermarket,” will look at current fleet service operations and how technology serves as a headwind for the OEMs versus the independent aftermarket. The panel will be lead by Gary Cummings, president and CEO of FleetNet America.

As one of three in HDMA’s Heavy Duty Dialogue Series, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue program will provide insight and a forward look at the heavy-duty aftermarket, with an introduction by Tim Kraus of HDMA, an aftermarket industry forecast with Stu MacKay, of MacKay & Co., and a market and economic outlook with heavy-duty industry expert Dr. Robert Dieli of RDLB Inc., and financial expert, Bill Strauss, of the Chicago Federal Reserve.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue features individual presenters and separate distribution executive panel discussions with primary topics that include:

* Politics, What Does It All Mean?
* The Evolution of Distribution: Not Your Father’s Aftermarket
* The Evolving Role of e-commerce in the Aftermarket
* The Fundamental Drivers of the Industry
* The State of the Industry

Conference registration will include: printed conference books containing available presentation materials; breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon, and the HDAW’15 All-Industry Reception – all intended to facilitate networking with industry peers. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, to prepare for the conference’s start time of 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015.
