MILTON, Ga. – Exide Technologies has announced the appointment of Carla Chaney as executive vice president, human resources.
Since 2010, Chaney has been group vice president, human resources, Newell Rubbermaid Inc. In her new role, Chaney will report to Jim Bolch, Exide president and CEO, and will be a member of the Exide Executive Leadership team.
Prior to being named group vice president, human resources, for Newell Rubbermaid, Chaney served in multiple HR leadership roles at Newell Rubbermaid, Georgia Pacific and Mohawk Paper Mills Inc.
"Carla brings nearly 20 years of experience as a results-oriented leader focused on serving as a business partner to enhance organizational capability and engagement aimed toward accelerating growth," said Bolch. "Her global experience as well as her skills and experience in all aspects of human resources make her an outstanding addition to our company."
