Event Organizers Say Early Support is Strong for Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2011

Surveyed suppliers said they intend to use the HDAW Product Expo to introduce their latest products and programs and to promote new services. HDAW '11 will provide heavy duty suppliers the opportunity to display their product lines to the top heavy duty aftermarket distributors in the U.S.

ORLAND PARK, Ill. – Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) organizers have reported strong response from a record number of suppliers, with more than 60 percent of the Product Expo exhibit spaces reserved by more than 110 HDAW exhibiting suppliers during the first weeks of registration for the 2011 conference.

In addition, show organizers say several new suppliers have committed, bringing sales in the HDAW ‘11 Product Expo to 28 percent greater than the same period in 2010.

“It’s quite encouraging to see the increases from last year into this upcoming conference since it reflects two-part confidence — on the part of the supplier and on the part of the distributor and his respective customers,” said Terry Livingston, HDAW ‘11 co-chairman. “The heavy-duty aftermarket is a growing, dynamic member of transportation, and all of us are thrilled by its overall return to economic normalcy and ultimate growth in servicing-supplying better and faster to the commercial vehicle operators."

HDAW ‘11 will be held Jan. 17-20 at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
