Epicor Named Title Sponsor Of 2017 AWDA Business And Education Conference

Epicor, a provider of technology solutions developed specifically for motor vehicle parts and service businesses, is the first title sponsor in the 70-year history of the conference.

The Auto Care Association has announced that Epicor Software Corp. will be title sponsor of the 2017 Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) Business and Education Conference taking place Oct. 28-30 at the Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Epicor, a provider of technology solutions developed specifically for motor vehicle parts and service businesses, is the first title sponsor in the 70-year history of the conference.

“We are proud to step forward in support of this critical annual event for the parts distribution community and leading industry suppliers,” said Scott Thompson, vice president, automotive, analytics and content, Epicor. “The AWDA conference has a long and impressive history, but it has perhaps never been more important than in today’s extraordinarily dynamic business environment, where channel partners must carefully align their resources and strategies to meet their growth objectives.”

“Epicor’s investment in the conference corresponds with aggressive expansion of its industry data analytics capabilities for automotive parts and service businesses,” said Larry Northup, AAP, executive director of AWDA and senior director of community engagement for the Auto Care Association. “The company is the leading provider of data warehouse services and related business and industry analytics for suppliers, program groups, warehouse distributors and service chains. Epicor is also an industry leader in software platforms, e-catalog content and e-commerce solutions. Epicor is a longtime partner to our members and the entire auto care industry, and we are very pleased to be able to rely on their support in making this year’s conference our best yet.”

The annual AWDA Business and Education Conference hosts more than 2,000 individual one-on-one meetings scheduled during two days, and represents the auto care industry’s single, most efficient venue for warehouse distributors and their suppliers to conduct real business.
