DUBLIN, Calif. Epicor Software Corp., a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, has announced the appointment of Craig McCollum as executive vice president and general manager for the company’s retail distribution solutions business to lead expansion in this key sector.
Reporting to Epicor President and CEO Pervez Qureshi, McCollum will have operating responsibility for the retail distribution solutions business, which delivers comprehensive business management solutions for small to midsize retailers across a variety of industries including pharmacies and drug stores, lumber and building materials, lawn and garden centers, sporting goods and the automotive aftermarket. He is based at the company’s worldwide headquarters in Dublin, Calif.
In this new role, McCollum will be focused on revenue growth and expanding the market opportunity for Epicor retail distribution solutions including Epicor Eagle, Epicor Catalyst, Epicor Vision, and Vista Information Services. A proven leader, McCollum brings more than 25 years of experience in business applications sales, marketing and services delivery, as well as strong experience working within both direct and partner-driven sales models.
Prior to joining Epicor, McCollum served as president of True North Strategists, which worked with global technology firms to transform businesses to achieve profitable growth. From 2004 to 2008, McCollum held senior executive sales and operations roles with Microsoft Corp., including vice president, U.S. Dynamics, and vice president, small medium business worldwide sales strategy. Prior to that, he held executive management positions with other leading enterprise software providers including Sage Software, Lawson Software and Fieldcentrix Corp.
With the appointment of McCollum, Paul Salsgiver, executive vice president and general manager for the company’s Epicor Retail business will focus on driving key strategic investments in Epicor retail management software for the soft goods and specialty retail markets including apparel, footwear, discount and general merchandising.
