Elite EXTRA Hires Logistics Software Veteran Dave Safirstein

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Dave Safirstein, formerly of DQ Technologies, has joined the Elite EXTRA team as a senior account manager. Jim Ward, president of Applied Data Consultants, parent company to Extra Trax and owner of Elite EXTRA, announced Safirstein’s appointment.

Safirstein has more than 30 years of experience in distribution and logistics, most recently serving as senior account manager at DQ Technologies. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Epicor, formerly known as Activant.

Ward said that the tremendous growth of Elite EXTRA since it launched five years ago spurred the need for a sales executive like Safirstein who can keep that momentum going to take Elite EXTRA to the next level.

“We are thrilled that Mr. Safirstein has chosen to join the Elite EXTRA team,” said Ward. “His vast knowledge of the logistics industry, combined with his expertise in GPS tracking, dispatch solutions and high-tech industries, makes him a perfect fit for Elite EXTRA.”

Safirstein will be responsible for managing accounts in several industries that rely on optimal routing and GPS tracking to move their goods and services, including the automotive aftermarket and lumber and building supply industries.

“It is evident that Elite EXTRA is the wave of the future, providing the most innovative routing and tracking software in the industry,” said Safirstein. “Their focus is on delivering profitable outcomes and results for their clients using cutting-edge technology, which has propelled them to lead the pack. It is exciting to be part of that growth.”

Safirstein has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
