Early Bird Rates End Friday for HDRG Summit

The "Remanufacturer of the Year" to be named during the event.

CHANTILLY, Va. – APRA’s Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG) will host its annual HDRG Summit at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Jan. 17, just prior to the start of the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week. Early bird rates for registration end this Friday.

Members of ADS, ITPA, HDRG and APRA may register at the member price of $295 on or before Jan. 7, or $320 after Jan. 7. The non-member rate is $350 on or before Jan. 7, and $375 after Jan. 7.

Speakers and topics on the agenda are:

• “Overview of the DPF Cleaning Market” with Eric Adamson, product manager, SPX Service Solutions

• “Hidden Problems That Cause Lost Earnings in Your Business” with Tony Blazek of Hot Flush

• “Workers Compensation Clarification: Addressing Issues with Workers Compensation to Help Save You Money” with Gerry Cecil of Zurich

• “Why Complicate the Remanufacturing Quagmire for the Aftermarket” with Omar Cueto of Dieselogic.com. Cueto will discuss how living up to the 2003 Clean Air Act will improve the quality of remanufacturing and testing of electronic diesel fuel injectors and will reduce emissions

• “Trucking Trends to 2020” with Deborah Lockridge, editor of Heavy Duty Trucking and Heavy Duty Aftermarket Journal

• “New Technologies for Salvaging Cores” with Gary Reed, president of Lock ‘n Stitch

• “Embracing the Future” with Shawn Zwicker, leader of New Business Development at Cummins Inc.

An additional highlight of the HDRG Summit will be the annual “Remanufacturer of the Year” Awards Luncheon.
