DST Names Stan Gowisnock CEO and President

Parts distribution technology veteran sets sights on new methods of delivering marketplace solutions.

LAKE FOREST, Calif. — DST Inc., a provider of end-to-end and e-commerce parts supply chain solutions, has announced the appointment of Stan Gowisnock as CEO and president, effective immediately.

Most recently, Gowisnock held a seven-year position as executive vice president for WHI Solutions, where he led the charge in deploying technology that the parts aftermarket, OE’s and manufacturers use to manage the supply chain. Previously, he was a senior executive and founder with Telecomp/icarz and held management positions with CCI/Triad (now Activant).

Upon his appointment, Gowisnock said, “DST possesses four critical elements to ensure the delivery of new generation technology that is already developed, fine-tuned and working in the marketplace today. Those elements are the vision, the domain knowledge, the strategic business partnerships and the people to make it happen. As the nation embarks on its own stimulus plans to recharge the economy, DST will play a critical role in ensuring vertical market companies have the flexible technology tools needed to work smarter and more productively. In many cases, increased revenues and improved margins can be cost effectively achieved by customers utilizing DST technology. This is accomplished by DST simply complementing existing business systems with new technologies, thereby negating the need for expensive and resource dependent comprehensive system replacements.”

He continued, “DST will aggressively work to formulate best-of-breed business models for our clients, recharging and revitalizing their operations in preparation for the next wave of economic resurgence.”

DST Chairman Ray Stover noted, “Leveraging Stan’s expertise and leadership, DST will lead technology-based e-commerce and parts management solution providers in reinventing distribution during challenging economic times. We are excited and energized by the opportunities presented during the current era of change in parts distribution verticals. Our corporate mission is stronger than ever in ensuring that the proven premier technology we bring to the table is fully implemented by our customers. Stan has the passion, drive, and belief in the future of technology solutions to realize the ambitions we all have for DST and the industries we serve.”
