Dr. Robert Dieli And Bill Strauss To Present An Economic Update At Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue

HDMA - LogoThe Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), the heavy-duty division of the Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), and MacKay & Co. have announced that Dr. Bob Dieli of RDLB Inc. and Bill Strauss of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will present as part of the fourth-annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference, to be held Jan. 25, 2016, at The Mirage in Las Vegas, immediately preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2016.

Dieli and Strauss’s presentation, entitled “Economic Update,” will provide a discussion of an array of topics affecting the economic outlook for 2016. They will present a comprehensive view of topics affecting the economic outlook for the coming years, including the employment levels and trends, trucking activity levels and trends and the level of truck utilization as it relates to the current and future heavy-duty market.

The HDAD program will provide insight and a forward look for the heavy-duty aftermarket, with an introduction by Tim Kraus of HDMA and Stu MacKay of MacKay & Co., an aftermarket industry forecast with MacKay & Co. and a market and economic outlook by Strauss and Dieli.

HDAD features individual presenters and separate distribution executive panel-discussions with primary topics that include:

  • 360° View of the Aftermarket
  • Global Views of the Aftermarket: We’re Not Alone Out There!
  • The Aftermarket’s Future – Discussion of Telematics, Disruptions in Distribution, E-Commerce, Forecast & Outlook, Service Access Issues

Conference registration will include: printed conference books containing available presentation materials; breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon and the HDAW’16 All-Industry Reception – all intended to facilitate networking with industry peers. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, to prepare for the conference¹s start time of 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016.
