Check Dorman First - LogoDorman Products has announced the completion of its acquisition of Ingalls Engineering, Co. based out of Louisville, Colorado.

For more than 30 years, Ingalls Engineering has designed, engineered and produced premium-quality chassis, steering, suspension and alignment components in the aftermarket and OEM replacement segments. Dorman says Ingalls offers many strengths that seamlessly integrate into the company’s approach to product development; such as in-house engineering, innovative research and development, prototype testing capabilities and advanced electronic cataloging.

As a result of this acquisition, Dorman will deliver the broadest chassis offering in today’s aftermarket, according to the company. Dorman’s full line of control arms and chassis products will now be complemented by Ingalls Engineering chassis SKUs, such as ball joints, tie rod ends and other alignment products.

“The acquisition of Ingalls Engineering reflects Dorman’s commitment to aftermarket leadership in the chassis and suspension categories,” said Jeff Darby, Dorman’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “I am excited for the future opportunities presented by this new partnership and look forward to delivering new product innovations to all of our customers.”
