Dorman Products, Inc. has launched 325 new motor vehicle parts in January 2024, building on its previous year’s momentum of over 3,000 product launches. The company’s latest offerings are aimed at automotive parts distributors, retailers and repair shops.
The release includes a transmission oil cooler bypass valve, designed for specific Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac SUVs and pickup trucks. This product is intended to address issues like overheating, insufficient heat generation, or fluid leaks in transmissions. Made from solid aluminum billet, the valve features an additional access port for maintenance purposes.
The January additions also include various direct replacement parts and assemblies, aimed at matching or improving upon the performance of original equipment. These include exhaust manifold hardware and gasket repair kits for seven vehicle brands, and a set of VVT sprocket bolts for certain Ford and Lincoln vehicles, offering an alternative to dealership purchases.
Additionally, Dorman has introduced a windshield wiper motor and transmission assembly for older Ford and Mercury vehicles. This is part of a larger line of wiper system assemblies intended to decrease labor time and facilitate complete repairs, the company said.
These new parts are part of Dorman’s range for both passenger and commercial vehicles, the company said.
