TROY, Mich. Delphi Product & Service Solutions has announced the addition of eight new fuel modules, pumps and kits to its fuel management portfolio covering more than 2.6 million popular vehicles built from 2000 to 2012, including Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Infiniti, AMG and Audi applications.
Delphi fuel modules and pumps are designed to deliver an immediate, uninterrupted flow of fuel to the engine’s fuel rail and injectors at the specified system pressure, resulting in more efficient operation.
Delphi fuel pump and module assemblies are designed to withstand harsh alcohol fuel blends and provide dependable, long-lasting performance, quick pressure rise and quiet, efficient operation, according to the company. Additionally, where required, fuel assemblies include integrated fuel level sensing components that deliver an accurate reading of the fuel level in the tank to the fuel gauge. Fuel modules typically include a fuel vapor pressure sensor that detects any leaks in the fuel tank or associated evaporative emissions components.
