Dayco - Blue - Logo“Dayco is proud to work closely with Caterpillar and help them be successful as a well-respected global producer of industrial machinery and engines,” said John Bohenick, CEO for Dayco. “Utilizing the expertise developed over many years of working with industrial and commercial vehicle customers globally, Dayco offers unmatched solutions and technical support specifically developed and validated for the industrial market. We thank Caterpillar once again for recognizing our ability to meet and exceed their customer satisfaction expectations.”

Through demonstrated results, Caterpillar says Dayco has exhibited excellent process control, has shown a desire for ongoing continuous improvement, and has provided quality products to its Caterpillar customers. From Manresa, Dayco supplies fan and crankshaft pulleys to Caterpillar for its 4.4-liter and 7.1-liter engines along with industry-leading technical and sales support.

“We are extremely proud to receive this award as it is a recognition of our associates’ hard work with focus on delivering quality products to our customers on-time in a challenging, competitive environment,” said Antoni Porcel, quality manager for Dayco in Manresa.

In June 2015, the Dayco belt tensioner and idler pulley manufacturing plant in Wujiang, China, was awarded the Silver Supplier Certification from Caterpillar. And in September 2015, the Dayco belt tensioner, pulley and damper manufacturing plant in Ivrea, Italy, also was awarded the Gold Supplier Certification from Caterpillar.

“Caterpillar continues to be a valuable customer for Dayco in the industrial market and has been for more than 50 years,” said Paul DiLisio, senior vice president of automotive and industrial OE Sales. “Our associates understand, and value, the power of building things to endure, which shows up in our products and our customer relationships.”
