Dan Hough Announces Retirement From Advanced Innovative Technology

Hough’s leadership provided a key catalyst in helping drive AIT, manufacturer of Trakmotive CV axles and window regulators, in its incredible growth since its humble beginnings in 2006.

TrakMotive - LogoDan Hough, president of Advanced Innovative Technology (AIT), manufacturer of Trakmotive CV axles and window regulators, has announced his intention to retire at the end of the year.

Hough’s leadership provided a key catalyst in helping drive AIT and its manufacturer Wonh Industries’ incredible growth since its humble beginnings in 2006.

Hough helped found AIT in 2006. Over the years, the company went from a small operation with only a handful of employees to a multi-million-dollar corporation. Today, AIT and Wonh Industries are recognized leaders in automotive, truck and ATV|UTV aftermarket axles, as well as automotive aftermarket window regulators.

Hough has spent most of his career in the automotive aftermarket, working in all aspects of the business, from owning an automotive parts store, to warehouse distribution management, to overseeing a leading OEM manufacturer.

Hough’s experience includes director of operations for Drivetech/Division of GKN as an OEM supplier. He also served as general manager for Dynamic Axle, vice president of CVJ/JATS and president of Century Automotive Manufacturing before establishing AIT in 2006.

“It is with mixed emotions that I have decided to retire,” said Hough. “While I’m excited about what the future offers, I will miss working with the AIT team in this challenging industry. I am pleased that I had the opportunity to be an integral part in helping to make AIT/Wonh Industries an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor in CV axles and window regulators. My many positive experiences here, both professional and personal, will always be fondly remembered.”
