Crawford Moves to Am-Pac/Tire Pros

Former American Car Care Centers marketing director Dave Crawford is now vice president of training and program marketing for Am-Pac/Tire Pros.

Crawford left ACCC at the end of 2007 to become vice president of Mail America, a direct mail firm based in Phoenix. Crawford is also a contributing editor to Tire Review, a sister publication to aftermarketNews.

“I’m very excited about joining the Tire Pros team,” said Crawford. “As you know, I left ACCC a few months back to step into the unknown and try my hand at the direct mail business. It was a good company to work with, but when the opportunity arose to work with Tire Pros and Dennis Mangola, I couldn’t pass it up. They are one of the premier franchise programs in the country. To be able to work with their group of dealers and help them take their Tire Pros franchise program to a new level is a marketer’s dream.”

“I’ve known Dave for the last 12 years”, said Dennis Mangola, president of Am-Pac/Tire Pros. “We’ve worked together on numerous projects at ACCC and had a great working relationship. I believe that with his diverse background and marketing experience, he will help our Tire Pros program and enhance the offering to the dealers. He was instrumental in developing many of the programs that have helped make ACCC what it is today, and will certainly help expand our business. I’m extremely excited to have Dave on board and know he will be a great addition to our marketing team.”

Based in Simi Valley, CA, Am-Pac/Tire Pros has 278 franchise locations and 37 company-owned stores in 19 states, and operates 27 distribution centers. (Courtesy of Tire Review)
