Cosworth Technology Forms New Aftermarket Group

Cosworth Technology, Inc. (CTI), an independent consultant and supplier of powertrain and diagnostic engineering services to the global automotive industry, has announced the formation of a new aftermarket product group. The new aftermarket division, called "powerworks" will develop performance enhancement products and systems, supercharger systems in particular, for vehicle power trains ranging from 4 cylinder 2-liter engines up to large 8 cylinders engines (5+ liters).

NOVI, MI — Cosworth Technology, Inc. (CTI), an independent consultant and supplier of powertrain and diagnostic engineering services to the global automotive industry, has announced the formation of a new aftermarket product group. The new aftermarket division, called “powerworks” will develop performance enhancement products and systems, supercharger systems in particular, for vehicle power trains ranging from 4 cylinder 2-liter engines up to large 8 cylinders engines (5+ liters).

Over the next six months, powerworks will launch two new systems. Distributors and end-users will be able to see the first system at the 2005 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, with the introduction of the Focus Force 2.0 liter Zetec supercharger system. Early in 2005, and in conjunction with the SEMA Spring Show in Indianapolis, Ind., (February 4-5, 2005) powerworks will roll out its first supercharger for the light truck market. The company plans to release two to three new supercharger programs every year.
