Cooper Appoints Mickey Thompson GM

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. announced the appointment of Steve Kersh as general manager of Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, a subsidiary of Cooper Tire. As general manager, Kersh will oversee all aspects of Mickey Thompson operations, including finance, human resources, sales and marketing, supply chain, information technology and business development.

FINDLAY, OH — Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. announced the appointment of Steve Kersh as general manager of Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, a subsidiary of Cooper Tire.

As general manager, Kersh will oversee all aspects of Mickey Thompson operations, including finance, human resources, sales and marketing, supply chain, information technology and business development.

Kersh joined the company in 1993 as a production supervisor. Most recently he served as Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Europe’s director of European sales and marketing, based in Melksham, England. He also worked as a management trainee at the Bowling Green, OH, hose plant; as international customer service coordinator; international sales trainee; territory manager of international sales; regional manager of international sales; and manager of international sales.

Kersh earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, and earned a master’s in business administration from The University of Findlay, Findlay, OH. (Courtesy of Tire Review)
