Consumer Tracking Study from IMR Inc. Provides Category Specific Insights

WESTMONT, Ill. – IMR Inc. has announced publication of its Continuing Consumer Automotive Maintenance Survey (CCAMS), which offers retailers, manufacturers and distributors category-specific insight into Do-it-Yourself (DIY) and Do-it-For-Me (DIFM) demographics and vehicle graphics, as well as market share trends and replacement rate trends.

“Retailers, distributors and manufacturers will find the CCAMS information invaluable in understanding the demographics of DIY consumers, where these customers are going to buy parts, why they’re going there, the vehicles they drive and the replacement market size,” said Bill Thompson, president and CEO. “The CCAMS information and trends provide a holistic view of each product category and includes other metrics that broadens our clients understanding of their target market.  In addition, for those retailers, distributors and manufacturers selling to the DIFM market, the survey profiles DIFM consumers in the same manner."
