Collision Industry Foundation Adds Two Industry Leaders to its Board of Trustees

RICHMOND, VA — The Collision Industry Foundation has named John Bosin of Akzo Nobel Coatings, and Guy Bargnes of BASF and immediate past president of National Auto Body Council, to its board of trustees.

“John and Guy are key leaders in the collision repair industry and will be fundamental to our efforts of becoming a preeminent, self-sustaining charitable foundation,” said Doug Webb, president of the Collision Industry Foundation.

Trustees of the Collision Industry Foundation recently held their quarterly meeting at the new Keystone Automotive Industries headquarters in Brentwood, TN. Vincent Romans, The Romans Group LLC, and Mathew Ohrnstein, Symphony Advisors LLC, have been assisting the foundation by facilitating the planning meetings with the trustee members. Romans and Ohrnstein indicate that they have seen steady and progressive movement among the trustees and the foundation in designing and evolving a strategic plan, and initiatives that are the building blocks of the foundation’s future direction related to charitable funding on behalf of the collision industry.

The foundation is in the final development stages of its strategic business plan and funding model.

Members of the collision industry are encouraged to submit charitable projects to the Collision Industry Foundation for consideration at its website, www.collisionindustryfoundation.org.

Donations are also tax deductible and can be made through its website.
