After 53 years in the automotive aftermarket, industry veteran Chuck Patton has announced his retirement from IAP/DuraGo. DuraGo said Patton has been an integral part of the DuraGo team serving as vice president of sales for the western US for close to 15 years.
“After many great years working in the automotive aftermarket, I have finally decided to retire to spend more time with family and friends. I began my career in 1970 at Nyack Auto Parts in Nyack, New York. After nine years there, I was hired by TRW and moved to California…the rest is history! The last 15 years at DuraGo have been most rewarding, working with a great company and many fine people. I want to say thank you to all I have met along the way, and who knows? Maybe I will see some of you on a golf course somewhere,” Patton said.
“I’d like to pay tribute to Chuck for the great job he has done over past 15 years for DuraGo. I wish him well for the future, and I know that we will rely on his input and advice in times to come,” said John Kelley, president of DuraGo.
Looking forward, Sam Rusenovich will lead the DuraGo sales team. Rusenovich joined DuraGo in 2021 as vice president of sales.
