ROCK HILL, S.C. Chicago Pneumatic has announced the appointment of Todd Francis as its new vice president, North America for stationary compressors. Francis will be based out of Chicago Pneumatic’s Rock Hill, S.C., office, and will be responsible for new business development and further building Chicago Pneumatic’s distributor network across the North American compressor markets.
Chicago Pneumatic is among the industry leaders in portable and stationary compressor technology, focusing on power tools, construction and mining tools and compressors and generators, and is part of the global Atlas Copco Group. Chicago Pneumatic features a number of manufacturing locations across the United States.
Francis joins the Chicago Pneumatic executive team after more than two decades in the commercial construction and heavy equipment sales and rental field, including more than seven years as part of the Atlas Copco group of companies. Francis previously served as national account manager for Chicago Pneumatic Construction, where he was responsible for managing and expanding national accounts, cross-selling CP products while developing new business opportunities. Prior to that, Francis served in senior sales management positions with Allied Construction/Sandvik Tamrock and The Caterpillar Rental Store.

Francis assumes his new position on Jan. 23.
