Chandler’s Auto Parts Warehouse Under New Ownership

Chandler's Auto Parts Warehouse in Ft. Worth, Texas, has been sold to Concho Supply Inc. of San Angelo, Texas.

FT. WORTH, TEXAS– Chandler’s Auto Parts Warehouse in Ft. Worth, Texas, has been sold to Concho Supply Inc. of San Angelo, Texas.

Founded in 1971 by Jack and Carol Hinson, Concho Supply Inc. has branch locations in Grand Prairie, Abilene, and Temple, Texas. As part of the acquisition, Concho will take over two of Chandler’s branch stores located in Ft. Worth and Springtown, Texas. Concho is a member of the National Pronto Association.

Chandler’s was started by Dwight Chandler in 1962 with two employees, and has grown to 52 employees in 44 years. The company attributes this growth to the expansion of auto parts lines such as Pronto, ACDelco and Motorcraft, as well as the technical expertise and customer service of its employees. After Mr. Chandler’s death in 2001, his daughters Linda Grimes and Cheryl Richardson continued to own the business until this sale. To honor the founder of this business, the Chandler’s name will continue to be a part of the Fort Worth and Springtown stores.

The current management and employees at all Chandler’s locations will continue with the company, according to a press release from Concho.
