INDUSTRY, Calif. – Centric Parts has named Brian Griffin III to the newly created position of director of catalog and product management.

A graduate of Cal State Fullerton, Griffin comes to Centric following eight years at Interamerican Motor Corp. (IMC), where he was director of product lifecycle and catalog management. Before that, he was a clutch kit and assembly manager at ARI. He is president of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) and is a recipient of the 2011 AIA Young Executive of the Year Award.

“We are thrilled to have Brian on board. He brings a great amount of expertise and experience to our already award-winning catalog department. He will make an immediate impact on our future catalog and product management plans as we continually work to stay ahead of the competition,” said Centric Parts President Dan Lelchuk. “Few people know the catalog software used in the industry like he does and all of the Centric brands will definitely benefit from his talents and experience.”

During his stint at IMC, Griffin was responsible for converting the catalog from a proprietary, home-grown catalog structure to an entirely ACES native environment through Talking Pictures, making IMC compliant with industry data standards.

“Centric already has an outstanding reputation for quality product and cataloging,” said Griffin. “I am excited about the opportunity to contribute whatever I can to uphold their record of excellence.”
