CCAR Announces Election of Officers, Board Members

CCAR enters its 15th year with new board members and officers.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Coordinating Committee For Automotive Repair (CCAR) has announced the members of its Executive Committee and Board of Directors and Executive Committee for 2009-2010.
    
Executive Committee members are:
Chairman – Lin Peacock, National Automobile Dealers Association
Vice Chairman – Charles Ayers, Midas International Corp.
Secretary – Bill Mayer, Insurance Auto Auctions Inc.
Treasurer – Bill Brown, Johnson County Community College

Also serving on the Executive Committee is the organization’s immediate past chairman, Guy Bargnes, BASF Automotive Refinishes.
    
New members of the CCAR Board are:
Mark Algie, 3M Corp.
Teresa Kostick, All Line CARSTAR
John Nohe, JNA Advertising
Mark Saxonberg, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc.

“With the addition of our new board members, we expect CCAR to continue enhancing industry awareness of environmental and safety issues, along with the training content and delivery of these very important elements to the broad community of vehicle repair and maintenance technicians,” said Lin Peacock, NADA Senior Director, Insurance Plans and Programs. “As CCAR enters its 15th year, I am proud of its accomplishments and look forward to leading this distinguished board.”
