CAWA Announces Guest Speakers For Its June Leadership Meeting

The guest speakers at the event will be Bill Hanvey, president and CEO of the Auto Care Association, and Chris Gardner, vice president of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association.

CAWA will be holding its June leadership meeting June 22-23 in Long Beach, California. According to the association’s President and CEO Rodney Pierini, the guest speakers at the event will be:

CAWA - Logo“We are pleased that these two leaders in the auto care industry are taking the time to visit with CAWA’s leadership and membership to discuss contemporary industry issues,” said Pierini.

The event will include a reception for the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) and will conclude with an industry summit with representatives from the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Service Councils of California, the repair garage owner’s association.

MEMA Applauds Biden Administration Initiative to Support Suppliers

MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association (MEMA), said it applauds the announcement on May 6, 2024, by Vice President Harris and the Biden-Harris Administration in their support of small- and medium-sized auto parts manufacturers and autoworkers. Through the announcement of more than $100 million in funding and a suite of strategic actions, the Administration demonstrates its commitment to strengthening the domestic auto industry and ensuring its competitiveness in the clean vehicle future, according to MEMA.
