Spectra Premium Industries is seeking a highly qualified individual to be responsible for managing and planning the analysis and implementation of marketing and product programs for the Fuel System & Engine Sensor product categories for North America.
The category manager is responsible for obtaining & analyzing market based information for the North American market. Other functions include assisting with vendor / product sourcing, product availability and continuous quality improvements. In addition to leading the collaborative effort of new product introduction with both the internal product team and North American sales team. This person works in collaboration with fellow colleagues and both the V.P. Aftermarket Sourcing and International Development and V.P Aftermarket Sales and Marketing.
Requirements
• Detailed knowledge of Fuel System and Engine Sensors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• 5-10 years of experience in the automotive industry is preferred
• Experience in price positioning and profit analysis
• Purchasing experience and understanding of market segmentation
• Experience working with large accounts
• Detroit, Windsor area
