LOS ANGELES Shelby American Inc., a division of Carroll Shelby International, and the Carroll Shelby Foundation have announced that the Carroll Shelby Tribute Celebration, to be held at 6 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 30, at the Petersen Automotive Museum, will be broadcast live worldwide via a free webcast. In addition to viewing this ceremony via webcast, enthusiasts are encouraged to join Shelby owners around the world in a “Rev Your Engine” salute to the life of an American icon, and friend, Carroll Shelby.
“We’re so excited to share this farewell tribute of an American Legend with all of the Shelby and automotive fans around the world,” said Jenni Shreeves, director of the Carroll Shelby Foundation. “Carroll genuinely valued the people who admired and owned his cars. Giving them a chance to be a part of this tribute is truly what he wanted.”
The live webcast will begin at 6 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 30. Pre-ceremony video coverage will begin at 6 p.m. PDT and the memorial will start at approximately 7 p.m.
