Carlisle Names John Younger General Manager, Carlisle Altec

Carlisle Motion Control Industries has named John Younger general manager, Carlisle Altec. Altec Brake Systems, a division of Carlisle Motion Control Industries, operates three brake shoe remanufacturing facilities and a distribution warehouse. Younger brings 30 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck parts industry to his new position.

BLOOMINGTON, IN — Carlisle Motion Control Industries has named John Younger general manager, Carlisle Altec. Altec Brake Systems, a division of Carlisle Motion Control Industries, operates three brake shoe remanufacturing facilities and a distribution warehouse. Younger brings 30 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck parts industry to his new position.

Younger spent the past 22 years in a variety of positions with $8 billion global systems and components supplier ArvinMeritor. Most recently, Younger served as OEM account manager. Prior to joining ArvinMeritor, he held management positions at Euclid and Transit Parts Co.

Carlisle Motion Control Industries has been a QS 9000/ISO 9001 certified company since 1997; manufacturing and marketing heavy duty, asbestos-free brake linings for vehicles in class sizes six through eight, and Altec remanufactured brake shoes.
