Call for Entries: 2010 Polk Inventory Efficiency Awards

The Polk Inventory Efficiency Award recognizes and rewards outstanding automotive aftermarket companies for process improvements relative to inventory efficiency.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — R.L. Polk & Co. is now accepting entries for its sixth annual Polk Inventory Efficiency Awards. The Polk Inventory Efficiency Award recognizes and rewards outstanding automotive aftermarket companies for process improvements relative to inventory efficiency.

Related Articles

Polk presents the awards in two categories: Manufacturer and Retail/Distribution. Last year’s winners were Gates Corp. and Uni-Select USA.

The awards will be presented at the 2010 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS), May 18-19, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago, Ill.

MAHLE finalizes sale of its OEM thermostat business

MAHLE has finalized the sale of its OEM thermostat business as of May 2, 2024. The sale transfers the thermostat segment to the industrial and investment holding firm ADMETOS, which will operate the business under the name BTT Solutions. As part of the deal, ADMETOS is taking on around 600 employees in six countries. In the spare parts and accessories market, the sale of thermostats under the MAHLE and Behr brands will continue to be handled by the worldwide MAHLE Aftermarket network, according to the latest press information.
