Butch Smith Joins Precision Automotive Industries, Inc.

Arthur "Butch" Smith has joined Precision Automotive Industries, Inc. as vice president sales and marketing. In this new role, Smith has global sales responsibility for Precision Automotive Industries’ product line. Precision Automotive Industries, Inc. is an ISO 9001 and QS 9000 certified global supplier of new condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, receiver driers/accumulators, refrigerant R12 and R134A, and new and quality remanufactured alternators, starters, a/c compressors and fork lifts.

DALLAS, TX — Arthur “Butch” Smith has joined Precision Automotive Industries, Inc. as vice president sales and marketing. In this new role, Smith has global sales responsibility for Precision Automotive Industries’ product line.

Precision Automotive Industries, Inc. is an ISO 9001 and QS 9000 certified global supplier of new condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, receiver driers/accumulators, refrigerant R12 and R134A, and new and quality remanufactured alternators, starters, a/c compressors and fork lifts. The company is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with U.S. offices in Maryland and Texas. Smith will be based in Dallas, TX.

Smith has 40 years of experience in the aftermarket A/C industry, including 13 years with John E. Mitchell Co. (Mark IV Division), and 23 years as vice president sales with Sanden International (USA), Inc. Smith has served on the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Board of Directors for almost 20 years. He has served as vice chairman, chairman and is currently past-chairman. He is a recipient of the MACS prestigious “Pioneer Award.”
