Bridgestone Changes CFOs

Bridgestone Corp. and its North American subsidiary are swapping CFOs. Akira Nozawa, currently Bridgestone Americas Holding’s (BAH) CFO and executive vice president, is returning to the parent company as vice president and CFO and will also oversee finance, procurement and IT. Shoji Mizuochi, Bridgestone Corp.’s current CFO, is joining BAH as vice chairman and CFO. In addition, he will continue to serve on Bridgestone board of directors.

Bridgestone Corp. and its North American subsidiary are swapping CFOs.

Akira Nozawa, currently Bridgestone Americas Holding’s (BAH) CFO and executive vice president, is returning to the parent company as vice president and CFO and will also oversee finance, procurement and IT.

Shoji Mizuochi, Bridgestone Corp.’s current CFO, is joining BAH as vice chairman and CFO. In addition, he will continue to serve on Bridgestone board of directors.

The CFO swap is effective on June 30.

Bridgestone Corp. also announced that Tatsuya Okajima is now senior vice president and board member in charge of OE; and Hideki Yokoyama is now vice president and corporate officer in charge of product planning and business development.
