RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. David Coolidge, executive vice president, global automotive aftermarket division, Bosch Group, has been elected as 2011 chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) Board of Governors.
In addition to Coolidge, new AASA officers include:
First vice chairman Jeff Brekke, president, global automotive aftermarket, Gates Corp.
Second vice chairman Jay Burkhart, senior vice president, global aftermarket, Federal-Mogul Corp.
Immediate past chairman Tom Ward, president, Snap-on Repair Systems & Information Group and senior vice president, Snap-on Inc.
Five automotive aftermarket executives have joined the AASA Board of Governors in 2011 as new members:
Craig Breese, president, consumer products group, Honeywell
Bruce Cole, president, Exide Americas
Lucia Moretti, vice president, global independent aftermarket, Delphi
Caroline Perrotta, manager, operations, Intraco/Casite; representing the AASA Overseas Automotive Council (OAC)
Jay Sanchez, president, Remy Power Products, Remy International Aftermarket Division
Steve Handschuh, AASA president and COO, and Bob McKenna, president and CEO of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), AASA’s parent association, also serve on the AASA executive committee.
