Bosch Product Portfolio Continues To Expand

BROADVIEW, Ill. – Robert Bosch LLC has announced 20 new part number releases for December 2014. The new part numbers include brake pads and rotors, wiper blade sets, new and remanufactured alternators and remanufactured starters.

Eight new Bosch Blue Brake Pad Sets are now available – all with a hardware kit included. These additions expand Bosch coverage of late-model domestic and Asian vehicles by another 10 million units in operation. Bosch Blue brake pads are designed for shops that service a variety of make and models and serve the “everyday” driver who is looking for performance and value.

These new Bosch Blue Brake Pad Sets cover 2007-’12 Acura RDX, 2005-’10 Honda Odyssey, 2005-’10 Kia Sportage, 1991-’02 Honda Accord, 2005-’10 Chevrolet Cobalt,  2007-’10 Pontiac G5, 2000-’04 Ford Focus and more.

Bosch has added four new SKUs to its QuietCast Rotor line providing late-model coverage for an additional 800,000 domestic, Asian and European units in operation. QuietCast rotors are 100 percent factory mill precision-balanced with OEM-style vane configurations and environmentally friendly, clear-look coatings that resist rust and corrosion. They also feature low run-out and disc thickness variation (DTV).

The additional Bosch QuietCast Rotor coverage includes 2013-’15 Ford Fusion, 2013 Lincoln MKZ, 2012-’14 Honda CR-V, 2013-’15 Acura RDX, 2012-’14 Mercedes-Benz SLK350, 2012-’14 Toyota Camry and more.

The Bosch Starting and Charging Group has announced the addition of six new and remanufactured starter and alternator SKUs covering more than 600,000 U.S. vehicles in operation. These starters and alternators offer coverage for late-model domestic, Asian and European applications, and are designed to meet or exceed the manufacturer’s recommendation.

New alternators are available for 2008-’10 Audi TT Quattro V6 3.2L, 2010 Audi TT Quattro 4-cycle 2.0L, 2009-’11 Volkswagen CC V6 3.6L, and 2012-’13 Volkswagen Passat V6 3.6L.

Reman alternators have been added for 2010-’13 Mazda 6, 4-cyl. 2.5L and 2006 Hummer H3 V6 3.5L. Reman starters have been added for 2010-’13 Mazda 3, 4-cyl. 2.0L, 2011 Chrysler 200 4-Cyl 2.4L and others.

Two new Bosch Aerotwin Wiper Blade sets also have been released for December. Together, they expand Bosch coverage to an additional 1.8 million vehicles in operation. Bosch Aerotwin offers a direct OE replacement for vehicles requiring specific connection types and features an integrated wind spoiler design.

One set comes with two 22-inch blades for applications including 2004-’08 Audi A4 and S4, 2006’08 Mercedes Benz RS4 and more.

The other set comes with one 24-inch and one 19-inch blade fitting 2007-’12 Volkswagen Eos, 2010-’12 Volkswagen Golf, 2006-’10 Volkswagen Jetta, 2006-’11 Volkswagen Passat and others.
