BROADVIEW, Ill. Bosch has introduced the patented OE SmartLink oxygen sensor connector system, which allows 14 OEM-specific, heated oxygen sensors to cover up to 96.2 percent of all OE domestic and import vehicle applications by simply installing the patented connector system onto the existing wire harness.
The OE SmartLink system includes a premium, OEM-specific, heated oxygen sensor that comes standard with a 24” wire harness. The 24” extra-length harness allows for replacement of any worn or damaged wire in the existing OE sensor harness. The patented connector comes in a kit that contains all the necessary components and instructions.
OE SmartLink features a waterproof connector body, fully submersible and resistant to car wash and roadside spray, which also allows the OE-type sensor to “breathe” reference air. It also features special high-temperature Posi-Lock connectors with reusable screw-on caps, in the event of a wiring error.
According to Bosch, the system was designed and tested to rigorous U.S. standards and is resistant to vibration, thermal exposure, thermal shock and high current flow.
