LAS VEGAS — During Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week 2005 in Las Vegas, Underhood Service, ImportCar and Brake & Front End magazines presented several aftermarket companies with its prestigious Readers’ Choice Award. Of the hundreds of advertisers who seek readers’ attention, these companies are among the foremost communicators in the industry. Only 10 companies earned this distinction from each magazine.
The 2005 Reader’s Choice Award winners, by magazine, are:
- Underhood Service – ACDelco, Airtex, ALLDATA, Delphi, Dorman, Fel-Pro, Gates, NAPA, OTC and Remy.
- ImportCar – ACDelco, Advance Auto Parts, ALLDATA, Bosch, Dorman, Gates, LuK, Mitchell1, OTC and Wagner Brakes.
- Brake & Front End – Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper, Bendix, CARQUEST, Dorman, Hunter Engineering, Moog, NAPA Brakes, Performance Friction, Timken and Wagner Brakes.
Professional repair shop owners receiving these magazines participated in a nationwide survey of advertising readership and advertising recall via Babcox AdScope research questionnaires, covering three issues of each magazine. A score was generated for each ad in those three issues.
Underhood Service magazine serves this country’s more than 40,000 repair shop owners whose business is concentrated on under-the-hood repairs. ImportCar is the complete import service magazine, and is received by more than 29,000 import specialist repair shop operators across the country. Brake & Front End magazine serves this country’s more than 40,000 repair shop owners whose business is concentrated on under-the-car repairs.
