Axalta Coating Systems Receives Worthington Industries’ 2015 Certified Supplier Award

The award recognizes Axalta’s tough, durable and environmentally responsible coatings in conjunction with excellent service and support to Worthington Industries in 2015.

Axalta Coating Systems was recognized as a certified supplier for the eighth consecutive time by Worthington Industries at their recent supplier event in Columbus, Ohio. The award recognizes Axalta’s tough, durable and environmentally responsible coatings in conjunction with excellent service and support to Worthington Industries in 2015.

Axalta - Worthington AwardTo become a Worthington Certified Supplier, Axalta was required to meet or exceed a number of product performance standards as well as quarterly on-time delivery evaluations of the Alesta and E-Coat products it supplies to Worthington Industries. Suppliers are evaluated for continued improvement practices as well as price competitiveness and quality testing results.

“Axalta is a valuable powder coating supplier to Worthington,” said Rick Flury, Worthington Industries purchasing manager. “Axalta first became a certified supplier for Worthington in 2007 and this is the eighth consecutive year they have received this award. Axalta also was Supplier of the Year in 2009.”
