AWE Tuning Moves Into New World Headquarters

The new headquarters, roughly three times larger than the previous one, will house AWE Tuning’s entire team in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility.

AWE - LiftsAWE Tuning has announced another milestone in the company’s growth. This week, the performance parts manufacturer moved into its new headquarters located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. The new headquarters, roughly three times larger than the previous location, will house AWE Tuning’s entire team in a state-of-the-art facility.

The new facility was created to accommodate AWE Tuning’s growth, which recently increased with the company’s launch into manufacturing the AWE Tuning BMW performance line.

Awe Tuning - FacilityThe building, situated on four acres, was acquired in January 2015 and has been undergoing a gut and renovation since the acquisition. The manufacturing floor has 10 times the space of the previous location, including new and existing fabrication equipment. The R&D department also offers 10 times the space of the old location, including “fast access cut-throughs” between development vehicles and work stations. R&D incorporates a five-lift prototyping and development department. The office area is a large, open floor layout, housing marketing, engineering, sales and administrative staff.

The new location also includes:

  • A new central in-ground dyno cell, including the AWE Tuning AWD Mustang Dynamometer
  • A multi-car visitor waiting area, featuring visibility into the dyno cell, manufacturing and R&D departments
  • A three-dock shipping department and second office area
  • A central “cafe” area to facilitate additional communication between all teams
  • A multi-media lounge
  • Large multi-media conference room

“AWE Tuning started in a single bay in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Today, almost 25 years later, the company is one of the most trusted names in performance aftermarket manufacturing. The global growth of the brand required more space for manufacturing, research and development and office staff,” stated Jesse Kramer, vice president of marketing for AWE Tuning. “Furthermore, our team deserves it. More space, more collaboration, more innovation – it’s all evident the second you walk into our new space, appropriately located on Precision Drive.”
