BETHESDA, Md. – Automotive instructors are invited to attend "Inside AAPEX for Automotive Instructors" on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. Attendees will learn about new technology, meet with manufacturer product managers and trainers, and earn National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) credit hours.
The program features education sessions offered as part of the AAPEX Learning Forum that address new technology and timely repair issues including “Direct Injection Update,” “Wallet Flushing?” “New Exhaust Technologies Including the New Clean Diesel,” “Wiring Diagram Color Coding: A Tool for Understanding Electrical Circuits” and “TPMS Smart Maintenance and Repair.”
All of the sessions have been approved by NATEF for continuing education credit hours. Each session is accredited for one hour. Attendance certificates will be available at the conclusion of each session. Instructors also will have access to the AAPEX show floor to view the latest products and talk to manufacturer personnel.
“Keeping up with the latest technology is critical for today’s automotive instructors – the key people grooming the next generation of automotive technicians and other employees,” said Sue Kalish, AAIA senior director, education. “Since there is no better educational experience than AAPEX for them to learn about new products, technology, available resources and to network, the two sponsoring organizations made a special effort to reach out to this group and invite them to AAPEX. The organizations want to learn what the industry can do to help them and to let instructors know we appreciate all that they do.”
Sponsoring organizations include the AAIA Education Committee and the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
