BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI — AutoCom Associates, a Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based public relations agency, recently received a platinum award in the annual MarCom Creative Awards competition. The MarCom Creative Awards competition recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications practitioners. This year, there were more than 3,300 entries from around the world. The platinum award is the top honor for excellence in quality, creativity and resourcefulness.
AutoCom was the winner in the competition’s “special event planning” category for its “Tech Crawl 2004,” a day-long tour of automotive technology centers for Detroit-area automotive journalists. Companies participating in Tech Crawl 2004 included: Alcan Automotive, Behr America, Gage Products Company, GKN Driveline, GKN Sinter Metals, Grammer Automotive, Kolbenschmidt Pierburg and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
The MarCom Creative Awards entries are judged by industry professionals who are asked to recognize companies and individuals whose work exceeds high standards of excellence and sets industry benchmarks. This year’s competition included more than 3,300 entries from around the world.
