SAN ANTONIO — Moving into its fourth season of NASCAR sponsorship, Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper has contracted with Gillett Evernham Motorsports as the primary sponsor for six 2008 races. The Auto Value logo will decorate the Dodge race car for three races during the season while the other three races will showcase the Bumper to Bumper logo on the renowned Gillett Evernham Dodge racecar.

The Canadian native made a splash in his NASCAR debut in Montreal by qualifying on the pole and finishing second in his first career Busch Series race. Carpentier will drive the No. 10 Bumper to Bumper Dodge on June 1 at the Dover International Speedway and the No. 10 Auto Value Dodge at Daytona International Speedway on July 5, 2008.

AutoValue/Bumper to Bumper will be making its first appearance in international racing during the Nationwide Series race with the No. 9 Auto Value Dodge on the track in Mexico at the Autodromo in Mexico City, April 20, 2008 with Carpentier taking the wheel. A driver, yet to be announced, will be at the Kentucky Speedway on June 15, 2008 behind the wheel of the No. 9 Bumper to Bumper Dodge for another Nationwide Series race.

Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper will be an associate sponsor of the Gillett Evernham Dodges for all other Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series races in 2008 and will receive branding on Gillett Evernham team uniforms, team haulers and pit equipment.

Dick Morgan, president and CEO of Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper, had this to say, “We’re pleased to team up with Gillett Evernham for another year and look forward to bigger and better things in 2008 as we continue to build on our successes together on and off the track.
