BETHESDA, Md. The Auto International Association (AIA), a segment of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), installed two new board members at its May meeting during AAIA Spring Leadership Days in Hollywood, Fla. The newly elected board members are Bob Clark, director of aftermarket sales, Aisin World Corp. of America, and Dan Lelchuk, president, Centric Parts.
Clark joined Aisin in 1991 and is responsible for OES, accessory and aftermarket sales in North America and Latin American countries. His previous experience includes 14 years with Champion Spark Plug and six years with Genuine Parts Co. Clark is a member of the Automotive Sales Council and the Northwood University Advisory Board, and a former member of AASA Marketing Executives Committee.
Lelchuk has been part of the automotive aftermarket business since 1976, holding positions with several import parts suppliers including Beck/Arnley and Brembo. He spent 13 years with Autospecialty as vice president, sales and marketing, and is an original partner in the forming of Centric Parts in 2000. As Centric president, Lelchuk has developed extensive knowledge of trade and regulatory issues affecting the import aftermarket.
