Magic Glass Joins Visteon GlassVantage Network

Indiana-based Magic Glass has signed an agreement with Visteon’s Aftermarket Operations, authorizing Magic Glass as a select retailer for Visteon custom auto glass products. Through the agreement, Magic Glass becomes part of a growing nationwide network that sells and installs NASCAR Performance Windshields by Visteon and other auto glass products. Magic Glass serves Indiana with 20 locations offering auto glass installation services.

Keystone Automotive Industries Reports Fiscal 2005 First Quarter Results

Keystone Automotive Industries has reported results for its fiscal 2005 first quarter, which ended on July 2 — a fourteen-week period, compared with a thirteen-week period a year earlier. The company said net sales for the first quarter increased 19.5 percent to a record $141.1 million from $118.1 million a year earlier. Net income for the quarter was $4.1 million, or 26 cents per diluted share, compared with $4.2 million, or 28 cents per diluted share, for the quarter a year ago.

SKF Group Reports Second Quarter Results

Leading bearings producer SKF Group has reported its second quarter results. The company reported as 10.7 percent increase in sales for the second quarter of 2004, compared to the same period in 2003. The operating margin for the quarter was 10.2 percent and the price/mix increased by 1.8 percent. The company said cash flow continues to be strong.
