Atlantic Tire & Service Donates $25,000 To Children’s Home Society

The company has been involved with more than 45 local nonprofits and community-focused organizations over the past 17 years in business.

Atlantic Tire - LogoAtlantic Tire & Service, a locally owned and operated automotive care and repair center in North Carolina’s Triangle region, donated $25,000 to the Children’s Home Society.

Children’s Home Society, a nonprofit organization with one of the most comprehensive and seamless offerings of child welfare and family support services in North Carolina, has been serving children and families since it was founded in 1902. The nonprofit provides programs built on its mission of supporting the right of every child to a safe and permanent family, and since its inception, has placed more than 15,000 children into loving homes.

Atlantic has been involved with more than 45 local nonprofits and community-focused organizations over the past 17 years in business. Atlantic Tire & Service Owner Anthony Blackman donates almost 11 percent of Atlantic’s yearly net revenue to philanthropic causes.

“Just like other nonprofits we support, the Children’s Home Society provides life-changing services that impact our community every day,” said Anthony Blackman, owner of Atlantic Tire & Service. “We hope that this donation will help more children find a secure and caring family of their own and assist with the invaluable family programs offered through the organization.”
