PerTronix Brands Becomes the Aeromotive Group

In its next chapter, the company is uniting all brands under the values that have driven Aeromotive for the past 30 years.

After acquiring Aeromotive Inc. and Waterman Racing Components in 2020, PerTronix Performance Brands has now become The Aeromotive Group. Uniting nine automotive brands under one parent company, The Aeromotive Group now represents the following brands:

  • Aeromotive Fuel Systems
  • PerTronix Ignition Products
  • Taylor Cable
  • JBA Performance Exhaust
  • Doug’s Headers
  • Patriot Exhaust
  • Waterman Racing Components
  • Compu-Fire
  • Spyke

The company said as it embarks on the next chapter of growth, innovation and disruption, it felt natural to unite all the brands under the values that have driven Aeromotive for the past 30 years.

Over the coming months, brands within The Aeromotive Group will launch new products that will debut to the industry and public at the 2023 SEMA and PRI shows and beyond, the company said. All new products are designed to provide racers and grassroots enthusiasts alike with rugged, dependable equipment to keep their vehicles running efficiently and in most cases with greater performance.

“We’re putting a sharp focus on product innovation, branding and partnerships for the remainder of 2023 and moving forward,” said Laurent Potdevin, CEO of The Aeromotive Group. “All our effort is being directed to delivering what our customers want and have come to expect from our trusted brands.”

As part of its wider activation plans, Aeromotive has been appointed the official fuel system for Roadkill Nights and is a partner of the RKN Direct Connection Grudge Match 2023. The group is also supplying parts to Grudge Match participants to help complete their project vehicles.
