LITTLE ROCK, AR — Dean Toole has been appointed as vice president and general manager of Alliance Parts Warehouse in Little Rock, AR. Richard H. Morgan, chairman of the board of APW, announced that Toole is scheduled to assume leadership of APW on Sept. 1, 2005.
Toole comes to APW, the member owned distribution center for the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper organization, with fourteen years of experience in sales, marketing and distribution of automotive replacement parts and accessories.
Hailing from Indiana, Toole graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ball State University in Muncie, IN with a Bachelor of Science degree. Direct from college, he began his career at Balkamp, Inc. as a district manager. He worked his way up through the company during his 13 years of service up to serving as director of retail marketing before leaving for his new position with APW.
Toole said, “I’m very excited about this move and I look forward to working with everyone at APW to make sure the shareholders of the Alliance receive the best services and products available.” Toole concluded by saying, “The reputation of APW is well known within our industry and I feel honored to have been selected to lead this company forward.”
During his spare time, Toole likes to give back to the community. While in Indiana, he raised funds for the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Plus, he enjoys giving of his time as a volunteer for the Humane Society of Indianapolis and serving as a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity Alumni Chapter.
“It was a difficult search,” said Morgan. “After careful consideration, I believe we made the made best choice and the entire Board of Director’s supports Dean 110 percent as he takes the reigns of this key position within our company,” Morgan added. Alliance Parts Warehouse is the member-owned warehouse for the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper group residing in Little Rock, AR. This warehouse focuses on providing its membership with quality parts and service.
