Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Announces 2009 Board of Directors

The parent company of Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper introduces its new board.

SAN ANTONIO – Richard Morgan, president and CEO of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, parent company of Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper, has announced its 2009 Board of Directors.

Eli Futerman, Hahn Automotive, was elected chairman. Immediate past chairman Fletcher Lord Jr., Parts Warehouse, transferred to the role of secretary, while Rollie Olson, Parts Depot, retained his position as treasurer.

Current Board of Director members include:
·    John Bartlett, Automotive Parts Headquarters;
·    Bill Bond, Bond Auto Parts;
·    Fred Bunting, Auto-Wares;
·    Lyle Moore, Performance Warehouse;
·    Walter Spence, Tri-States Automotive; and
·    Doug Washbish, Moog Louisville Warehouse.

Joining the board in 2009 is new member John Del Vasto of Vast-Auto Distribution Ltd. Del Vasto is replacing Harold Bennett who rotated off the Board of Directors at the end of 2008 according to the bylaws of the Alliance.    

“Every member of the board plays a vital role in the success of the Alliance and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them,” said Morgan. “I know 2009 will be a challenge, as it is for every business today, but I know these men are ready to step up, take it head on and bring us out the other side stronger and more solid than ever before.”
