Advance Auto Parts Launches New E-Commerce Web Site

Customers can purchase more than 100,000 auto parts and accessories around the clock through the user-friendly site.

ROANOKE, Va. – Advance Auto Parts today announced the launch of its new e-commerce Web site on www.AdvanceAutoParts.com.

The enhanced Web site, complete with improved site navigation, powerful search features and high-speed movement from page to page, now provides the service of online shopping. Customers can purchase more than 100,000 auto parts and accessories through the user-friendly site around the clock. This business-to-consumer site features a streamlined shopping cart and multiple shipping options that include buying online and pickup in a local store or at-home delivery. Shipping is free on all ship-to-home orders greater than $75 and there is never a shipping charge on any store pickup order. Additionally, customers can process returns free-of-charge at any Advance Auto Parts store across the country.

“This new Web site gives Advance the ability to connect with more customers than ever,” said Scott Bauhofer, senior vice president and general manager, e-commerce. “The new Web site allows the company to match the legendary customer service experience consumers receive from Advance Auto Parts stores.”

Visitors will be able to receive additional assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the new Customer Care Center at 1-877-ADVANCE, on a variety of services including online and phone ordering, store, warranty and return questions. The Customer Care Center line features Interactive Voice Routing (IVR) so callers can route their questions to the appropriate customer care expert. In addition, customers may choose to speak to a customer care expert in either English or Spanish.

Visitors to the Web site can also locate their nearest local Advance Auto Parts store, as well as find articles, online videos and audio and video podcasts in the Web site’s “Advance Know-How” section.
