Advance Names 2023 Vendor Partner of the Year

Advance Auto Parts recognized several vendors for their contributions over the last year at its Partner Summit.

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. held its annual Partner Summit in Raleigh, NC, where it recognized several vendors for their contributions and performance over the last year.

The 2023 Vendor Partner of the Year Award was awarded to National Refrigerants, a global distributor of refrigerant products. Advance said National Refrigerants has collaborated closely with Advance’s inventory team, ensuring a steady supply of refrigerant products across authorized U.S. markets and assisting Advance with state and local regulations concerning refrigerant sales. National Refrigerants has been a pivotal vendor for Advance for over five years, the company said.

“Vendor partners are crucial for our company’s progress. Their continuous efforts in offering a quality product range and their commitment to innovative strategies let us cater more efficiently to our DIY and professional clientele,” said Jason McDonell, Advance’s executive vice president of merchandising, marketing and eCommerce. “Congratulations to National Refrigerants and all our awarded vendors, and appreciation to all participants of this year’s Partner Summit.”

Other notable recognitions include:

  • Amalie Oil Company: Named as the Superior Availability Vendor Partner of the Year for their assistance in maintaining stock levels and assisting in category growth.
  • ITW-Global Brands: Awarded the Together with Speed Vendor Partner of the Year for their comprehensive support in various product sectors, including wiper blades and body repair.
  • MotoRad: Recognized as the Excellence in Collaboration Vendor Partner of the Year for their consistent product innovation and data-informed product suggestions.
  • Sylvania: Given the Strategic Initiative Vendor of the Year award for their outstanding support in the lighting category.
  • Legends Marketing: Awarded Marketing Partner of the Year for their work in bolstering the authenticity of the TechNet brand and their role in increasing membership and sales for the sixth year in a row.
