ACPN Opens 2024 Content Excellence Awards

A new addition to the 2024 awards is the ACPN Content Excellence “Trailblazer Award."

The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a part of the Auto Care Association, recently opened submissions for the 2024 ACPN Content Excellence Awards. These awards recognize exceptional use of ACES and PIES data standards, as well as electronic cataloging and content on B2C platforms in the automotive aftermarket.

A new addition to the 2024 awards is the ACPN Content Excellence “Trailblazer Award,” which honors an individual who demonstrates leadership, innovation, and significant contributions to the ACPN, content management communities and the auto care industry, the association said. This award is overseen by the ACPN Leadership Council and the Technology Standards Committee (TSC).

The 2024 awards feature five categories:

  • The new Trailblazer Award
  • ACES and PIES Data Award for Year, Make, Model Applications Only (BaseVehicleID)
  • ACES and PIES Data Award for Manufacturer/Equipment Model Applications Only (EquipmentBaseID)
  • Web-based Catalog Award
  • Receiver’s Choice Award

Winners of these awards are announced annually at the ACPN conference during the Auto Care Association’s Auto Care Connect Conference. The 2024 Auto Care Connect event is scheduled for May 5-8, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.

Chelsea Scally, ACPN chair from S&P Global, expressed excitement about the new Trailblazer Award.

“It’s with incredible honor that our ACPN Leadership Council, the Technology Standards Committee (TSC), and I bring you this year’s first ever Trailblazer Award!” said Scally. “The ACPN Leadership Council and the TSC thought there’s no better time than now to recognize the outstanding leaders we surround ourselves with each and every day in this great community. We look forward to recognizing this year’s inaugural recipient at the 2024 Auto Care Connect Conference in May.”

To be eligible for an ACPN Content Excellence award, nominees must attend the 2024 Auto Care Connect event. The deadline for award submissions is January 26, 2024.
