ORLAND PARK, Ill. Exhibitor participation is on the rise for the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) 2010 slated for Tuesday, Nov. 2, through Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas, Nev.
Reserved exhibit spaces have increased 18 percent for AAPEX 2010 compared to this point before the 2009 event, according to W.T. Glasgow Inc., the AAPEX show manager. The group facilitated the annual AAPEX Space Drawing, held May 20 through June 11.
“This year’s space drawing went smoothly, and the feedback from participating companies was overwhelmingly positive on the self-selection process for spaces,” said Bill Glasgow Sr., president of W.T. Glasgow. “More than 750 companies participated in the AAPEX 2010 Space Drawing, including representatives from Brazil, China, India, Malaysia and Taiwan.”
As of June 22, a total of 995 exhibitors had reserved spaces at AAPEX 2010. This compares to 835 exhibitors on June 23, 2009. The exhibitor total includes all major domestic exhibitors who participated in the 2009 event. The total booth spaces reserved to date, which includes international pavilion spaces, is 4,310, which exceeds the final 2009 booth space total of 3,835.
“We’re very pleased by the event participation thus far,” Glasgow said. “With the increase in exhibitor participation, the expectation of similar increases in buyer registrations, the strengthening business climate and enhancements to the event, it’s clear that AAPEX 2010 will be a strong event this year.”
AAPEX is jointly sponsored by the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). For more information, visit www.aapexshow.com or e-mail [email protected].
